Adding a School to Your Region
When you create a new region, your region starts by default with one school. Over time, however, you may want to add a new school to your region.
Whether it's because one school has expanded, or you found a new school that would like to try GrapeSEED, you may add a new school to your region by logging into the Schools.GrapeSEED website listed above with your account credentials.
How to Add a School to Your Region
To add a new school to your region, you must first log into the Schools.GrapeSEED website and click on your region's name from the drop down list to open your Region page.
Once your region page is open, click on Manage Region on the right side of the page. From the drop down menu, select Add new school. This will open the 'New School' form. From here you must enter:
- School Name
- GrapeSEED Number
- Code
- Curriculum Type
- GrapeSEED
- LittleSEED
- Min and Max Unit
- License Type (This selection determines what is available at the class level)
- Classic (GrapeSEED or LittleSEED) - only in-class instruction using physical classroom materials
- Connect (GrapeSEED only) - only remote instruction via GrapeSEED Connect
- Nexus (GrapeSEED only) - only in-class instruction using digital classroom materials via GrapeSEED Nexus
- Classic/Connect Hybrid (GrapeSEED only) - classic and Connect instruction within the same class
- Classic/Nexus Hybrid (GrapeSEED only) - classic and Nexus instruction within the same class
- Connect/Nexus Hybrid (GrapeSEED only) - Connect and Nexus instruction within the same class
- Campus Name
- GrapeSEED Campus Number
- Phone Number
- School Address
"Code" is a setting related to the "Easy Login" region setting and is automatically generated whenever a new school gets created if that region setting is enabled. It is not required if the setting is disabled. It can only be edited by internal users.
Once you have finished entering the information, click Submit to create your new school.
Coach and Account Manager
When you add a new school to your region, you must assign either a coach or an account manager to that school. To do so, open your region page and click on your new school's name from the drop down menu to open your school page.
How to Assign a Coach and Account Manager to your School
From your school page, click on the button to the right of 'Coach' to open the 'School Coaches' page, and select Invite Coach on the right side to open the 'Invite School Coach' form.
Enter the email of the coach you would like to invite and select Invite.
To invite a new account manager, go back to your school page and click on the button to the right of 'Account Manager' to open the 'School Account Managers' page. Select Invite Account Manager on the right side to open the 'Invite Account Manager' form.
Enter the email of the account manager you would like to invite and select Invite.
