How to Grant Access to Talk Time
All Internal and external roles EXCEPT parents have access to Talk Time conversations via the "Talk Time Testing" link on the student app and web by default.
Only region administrators have the ability to grant access to Talk Time for Students. In order to do this, you first need to navigate to the Talk Time Access page for your region and then adjust permissions as you see fit.
As a region administrator, you can access the Talk Time Access page in multiple ways:
- Use the region drop down from the navigation path.
- Select "Manage Talk Time Access" from the Manage Region menu on the region page.
Once on this page, you can assign permissions at the school level.

To grant access, simply check the checkbox in the "Allow Talk Time" column on the row that you are granting access to. If you check the checkbox next to the column label, it will check all the boxes you are viewing. Then click Submit when you are ready to save your changes.
Granting access to an entire school will enable talk time for all campuses, classes, and students that belong to that school.
